Make sure the production summary includes all codes, quantity performed, all within the last 12 months, and the cumulative dollar amount for each code.

Dentrix G1 – G3

 Dentrix G1-G3 – Production Summary Print-Out Instructions:

Step 1: In the Practice Analysis window, click Reports from the menu bar.

Step 2: In the Dialog box that appears, select All under Select Provider

Step 3: Under Select Billing Type, select All

Step 4:
For the Date Range, select today’s date for To and a year back from today’s date for From

Step 5: Under Select Summary Report, select only the following boxes

  • Production Summary
  • Include Cross Coding
  • …by Proc Code Range Which should show From: All – To: All

Step 6: Select the Print button and save as a PDF

Go to Office Manager-Reports-Management-Practice Analysis.

Step 1: In the Practice Analysis window, click Reports from the menu bar.

Go to Office Manager – from the Reports menu, point to Management, and then click Practice Analysis Report.

Step 1: In the Practice Analysis window, click Reports from the menu bar.

Step 2: In the Dialog box that appears, select All under Select Provider

Step 3: Under Select Billing Type, select All

Step 4: For the Date Range, select today’s date for To and a year back from today’s date for From

Step 5: Under Select Summary Report, select only the following boxes

  • Production Summary

Eaglesoft Practice Management Software

12-Month Production Summary

The Service Code Productivity Report will show your Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date productivity. This report is considered a Live Report and only reflects totals since the last End of Year run. It cannot be filtered by date and is included in your End of Year Reports.

Past Year Report (End of Year)

The Service Code Productivity Report runs automatically with End of Year and a copy is saved in SmartDoc.
To locate the saved report:

Step 1: From the Front Office screen, locate Lists, select Practice Information, and click SmartDoc.

Step 2: Select the Documents by Group Tab.

Step 3: Click the "+" next to Documents by Group.

Step 4: click the "+" next to EOY Reports.

*You should see the saved Service Code Productivity Report from the end of the year.

Current Year Report (Year-to-Date)

To generate the current year report, go to:

Step 1: Locate Reports, select Services, and click Service Type Productivity – Detailed.

*This report resets monthly after End of Month is processed. If tracking monthly
production, run and save the report before completing End of Month.

Softdent

SOFTDENT – Production Summary Print-Out Instructions:

Among the practice management reports included in the SOFTDENT Software is the Production by ADA report. The report can be run for a specified date range and break down production by ADA code.

The Production by ADA Code Report cannot be run for practice totals only. This report is broken down by each specific provider.

1. Click Reports in the main menu bar.

2. Select Practice Management.

3. Select By ADA.

4. Select the desired output option.

6. Click OK.

7. Select the desired starting and ending transactions dates.

8. Select the code range that is to be searched on. ADA Production Codes begin at 100.

9. Select the desired report format.

10. Select the providers to run the report for. Provider 999 indicates the report will be run for the entire office.

11. Click OK.

12. Allow the report to generate.

Carestream

Carestream: This information will be possible to get via the Production Summary by Treatment Class report, which can be found under File > Print > Other/Misc reports. Be sure to check the box “Summary”.

You can call your software support and explain the report you need; it should include all codes, the quantity performed in the past 12 months, and the cumulative dollar amount for that code. If you are unable to access the report, please list to the best of your ability on a separate sheet, your top 35-40 utilized codes in the order of most importance to your office.
